==Plot==
An unidentified individual leaves the remnants of a deer carcass as a trail to lead the walkers to the prison where Rick's group has made their shelter, and breaks the lock to open the prison gate to allow the walkers inside.
In Woodbury, Michonne (Danai Gurira) discovers bullet holes in the vehicles that the Governor (David Morrissey) recovered from the National Guard camp after claiming the camp was overrun. She approaches him to learn more what happened, but he refuses to reply, and instead tries to convince her to stay in Woodbury. Michonne reiterates her concerns to Andrea (Laurie Holden) and her desire to migrate to the coast. Andrea instead desires to stay in Woodbury, and offers Merle (Michael Rooker) the location of the Greene farmstead to look for his brother Daryl. The Governor initially denies Merle's request to look for Daryl, but agrees to let him go on the basis that he will learn more information about Rick's group. Andrea begins to become romantically involved with the Governor.
At the prison, Rick (Andrew Lincoln), Carol (Melissa McBride), Daryl (Norman Reedus), Maggie (Lauren Cohan), Glenn (Steven Yeun), and T-Dog (IronE Singleton) discuss the idea of making the prison their permanent home. The two surviving prisoners, Axel (Lew Temple) and Oscar (Vincent Ward), approach the group asking them to allow them into the group, but Rick stands by his earlier compromise to keep them separated. Axel and Oscar refuse to return to their cell block due to the number of corpses there; Rick instead has them caged and given a week's worth of provisions, with the intent to cast them out at the end of the week.
The group gathers out in the prison yard as Hershel Greene (Scott Wilson) takes his first steps after his foot was amputated, with Beth (Emily Kinney), Lori, and Carl (Chandler Riggs) helping him along. Suddenly, walkers start to swarm the courtyard, and the survivors scatter into groups. T-Dog is bitten while covering the others fleeing into the prison tunnels, and follows along after Carol. The two become trapped between two sets of walkers in a corridor, and T-Dog sacrifices himself by barreling into one set and giving room for Carol to escape.
Rick, Daryl and Glenn re-secure the opened gate, and then race inside where Rick accuses Axel and Oscar of breaking the lock. However, during this, the prison alarm goes off which will attract more walkers. Recognizing that the prisoners are not at fault, Rick lets Axel and Oscar escort them to the backup generator room where they can disable the alarms. There, they discover the perpetrator is Andrew (Markice Moore), another prisoner that Rick had left to the walkers. Andrew had managed to escape and sought revenge on Rick's group, leading the walkers to the prison. Rick and Andrew struggle, causing Rick to drop his gun. Oscar picks it up, and despite Andrew's command to shoot Rick, Oscar kills Andrew instead, and then returns the gun to Rick. They shut down the generators, and work their way back to the courtyard. Along the way they spot T-Dog's corpse and a headwrap Carol wore, and fear she may be dead.
Meanwhile, Carl helps cover Lori and Maggie as they reach a boiler room and barricade themselves inside, with Lori having started to go into labor. Maggie goes to assist in the delivery but finds that Lori is bleeding profusely during her contractions. Knowing she will not survive the childbirth, Lori orders Maggie to perform a Caesarian section to deliver the child. Maggie successfully delivers the child, but Lori has died. Maggie tends to the child as Carl, recalling Rick's advice to him from the past, shoots his mother's body to prevent her from reanimating. Maggie and Carl make their way out of the prison as the others gather in the courtyard. Rick sees them, and becomes hysterical when he sees Lori is not with them.
